Proper, acceptable academic program accreditation is a Big Deal in the world of higher education. I suspect the schools you have considered for Medical Coding and Billing are all for-profit/career/proprietary schools. Some for-profit schools are fine; some are not fine. Some locally funded (taxpayer based funding) community colleges offer programs to study Medical Billing and Coding. Those schools and programs will have the proper accreditation for eligibility to Federal student financial aid. Since I have no idea where you reside, I cannot direct you to a community college in your area that may offer such a program.
